CNG stations to remain closed on Tuesdays
ISLAMABAD: Gas stations across Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa will remain closed every Tuesday, a private TV channel reported on Monday.
According to the channel, all CNG pumps will suspend gas supply on Tuesdays according to a plan aimed at saving gas consumption to improve supply to power stations.
The All Pakistan CNG Association (APCNGA) has agreed with the decision, however, demanding the government guarantee maintaining the current CNG prices.
APCNGA Chairman Ghayas Paracha told reporters in Peshawar that the Sui Northern Gas Pipeline Limited (SNGPL) should not file an application to increase CNG prices or they would not comply with the government’s decision. app
