Babar criticizes Nawaz Sharif

ISLAMABAD: Senator and Former Law Minister Dr. Babar Awan on Monday criticized Pakistan Muslim League (N) Chief Nawaz Sharif for issuing irresponsible statement.

Talking to media outside the Parliament House, he said, "Urging the bureaucrats to announce a revote against the government is an irresponsible statement from Mian Nawaz Sharif."

The reality is that the government has announced numbers of incentives for the government's servants, he said adding that it was Nawaz Sharif who ordered arrest of the government servants in the public meeting.

"Nawaz Sharif should now contest the election and play role in the remaining two years of the parliament."

He said the PML-N had realized its popularity among the masses after the result in Gilgit-Baltistan and Azad Jammu Kashmir polls.

He said due to policies introduced by the government the country is moving in right direction. Babar Awan expressed the hope that remaining problems of the masses would be solved in two years.

"We have roadmap to solve the issue of masses and we would overcome most the problems in nature future."

He said the people who are demanding the government to implement the Supreme Court decisions should first apology for attacking the honorable court during their tenure.
