PML-N reiterates commitment to independence of judiciary

ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) on Monday reiterated its commitment to independence of the judiciary and demanded the government implement the judgements of the superior courts in letter and spirit. In a Central Parliamentary Party (CCP) meeting, which was held under PML-N President Nawaz Sharif, it was observed that “obstruction to justice” in any form or manifestation by the executive authority was grossly condemnable. The CPP asserted that it is the duty of all parliamentarians and functionaries of the state to stand up against any violation of the constitution.
