FC gets powers but not yet deployed
KARACHI: In order to somehow control targeted killings, arson and violence in Karachi the Sindh government decided to give police powers to the Frontier Constabulary (FC) but the force has not been deployed anywhere in the city.
According to the sources in interior ministry, around 1000 FC personnel have reached the metropolis but still staying in headquarters. A strategy has been planned for the deployment.
