Altaf Hussain calls for army intervention
KARACHI: Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) chief Altaf Hussain said on Wednesday that the government had failed to control terrorists, so Army and Rangers should come forward to protect the lives of innocent people. This he said in a telephonic address to office-bearers of various wings and members of the Coordination Committee and parliamentarians of his party, here on Wednesday. The address was also relayed to Hyderabad and other parts of the country. They (Army and Rangers) should take indiscriminating actions against the elements responsible for creating bloodbath and setting houses and properties on fire, he said.
