Anwar Baig resigns from PPP
ISLAMABAD: After the PPP suspended his membership for meeting with Nawaz Shairf, former Senator Anwar Baig has resigned from the party, Geo News reported.
Senator Nayar Bukhari had suspended Baig’s membership on August 4 who had met with the PML-N chief a day earlier in Raiwind.
A message sent to the media by Anwar Baig also included a copy of his resignation which was sent to PPP Secretary General Jehangir Badar.
In his resignation, Anwar Baig wrote that he did not wish to offer any clarification on his suspension from the party and was resigning immediately.
