No compromise on Karachi peace: Rehman Malik

KARACHI: Interior Minister Rehman Malik has ruled out any compromise in the government’s efforts to restore law and order in Karachi. He said this while talking to the media after presiding over a high-level meeting with authorities in charge of maintaining law and order in the city. “We will not spare anybody,” he vowed, adding that action would be taken against criminals without any discrimination. He said that those arrested would soon be brought before the media to narrate their modus operandi. Speaking on the occasion, Home Minister Manzoor Wassan said that all efforts were being made to bring normalcy in Karachi and other parts of the province with the help of the federal government. app
