Birmingham remembers three killed during riots
BIRMINGHAM: Mourners in Birmingham remembered three young men of Pakistani origin killed during the riots.
They were run over by a car as they tried to protect their area from looters overnight Tuesday. Various faiths came together on Wednesday to hold a candlelight vigil.
Calm has returned to the streets but there's still a police presence. A 32-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder. Many are blaming poor policing for the riots and looting that swept the city.
As the vigil came to an end the city fell silent for the first time since Sunday.
