Clinton greets Pakistanis on Aug 14

WASHINGTON: US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton has assured that America is committed to working with the people of Pakistan to promote greater peace and prosperity for both the nations.
In her message on the Independence Day, she said, “On behalf of President Obama and the people of the United States, I am delighted to send best wishes to the people of Pakistan.”
The US ambassador to Pakistan Cameron Munter has also sent best wishes on the Pakistan’s Independence Day.
In his statement, the US ambassador said, “On behalf of President Obama, I send best wishes on the joyous anniversary of Pakistan’s Independence Day. May you continue to build on the great legacy of your founder Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah and realise his vision for a strong, stable, and secure country.” app
