MIRPUR: Kashmiris across the world will observe Indian’s Independence Day today as Black Day to express complete dissociation from India and extreme indignation and hatred against her imperialism by forcibly occupying their motherland (Kashmir) since last 64 years. Call for observing the Black Day, coupled with complete strike, has been given by All Parties Hurriyat Conference Chairman Mir Waiz Omer Farooq, senior Hurriyat leader Syed Ali Geelani and all other freedom-loving organisations at both sides of the Line of Control (LoC). Anti-India rallies will be held and protest processions taken out in all small and major cities and towns in Indian-held Kashmir (IHK) and AJK. All shops and business centres will remain closed and traffic will stay off the roads to observe the day while participants of the protest rallies will wear black bands around their arms and heads to express resentment against India. Black flags will be hoisted atop buildings by the protesting Kashmiris at both sides of the LoC against the continued Indian atrocities. In AJK, anti-India rallies will be organised and processions brought out in all small and major cities, including Muzaffarabad, Mirpur, Kotli, Bagh, Bhimbher, Havaili, Hattiyan, Palandri, Rawalakot and Neelam Valley. app
