President appoints non-statutory members of NFC
ISLAMABAD: President Asif Ali Zardari on the recommendations of Governors of the Provinces, on Thursday appointed four-member non-statutory members of the National Finance Commission (NFC) to represent the Provinces.
According to a notification issued the Ministry of Finance here, in partial modification of notification No. 2(1)-NFC/2010 dated July 21, 2010 and in pursuance of Article 160 (1) of the Constitution of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, the President on the recommendations of Governors of the Provinces, has appointed following non-statutory members of the National Finance Commission to represent the Provinces, mentioned against each:
1. Abdul Ghafoor Mirza Punjab
2. Kaiser Bengali Sindh
3. Senator Haji Mohammad Adeel Khyber Pakhtunkhwa
4. Sheikh Jaffar Khan Mandokhail Balochistan
