Nawaz demands immediate elections
LAHORE: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) chief Nawaz Sharif has demanded that elections be held in the country immediately, a private news channel reported on Wednesday. While speaking to the channel, the PML-N chief said that the problems being faced by the country could only be resolved if elections were held immediately. He added that it was the responsibility of the nation to stand up against the government and ensure that no one played with their mandate. On supporting the PPP, Nawaz Sharif said that his party had tried working with the PPP in the past but that there had been no substance to the relationship. He said that all political parties should go to the people and that the people should decide on the future of Pakistan. daily times monitor
