Six accused involved in Chakra Goth incident held: Rehman Malik
KARACHI: Federal Interior Minister Rehman Malik said on Saturday that peace would be restored in Karachi through all possible means, adding that six of the accused allegedly involved in firing on a bus of elite force personnel at Chakra Goth, Korangi which occurred on Friday evening have been arrested. He was talking to media prior to leaving for the federal capital at Karachi Airport. Speaking about the situation in Karachi, he said that the government was striving to improve law and order in Karachi and he stated that the action being taken by the authorities would help improve the situation in the city. Answering a question, he said that the police had given many sacrifices and that a single incident could not demoralise the force. He said there was no need to call in the Army, adding that if it were needed, all parties would be taken on-board in this regard. app
