MQM wants to become party in Karachi case

ISLAMABAD: Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) leaders, Dr. Farooq Sattar and Haider Abbas Rizvi met with the Supreme Court Registrar and discussed ways in which the MQM could become a party in the apex court’s suo-moto notice of the killings in Karachi.

The MQM leaders later told the media that their party wanted to facilitate the SC in the Karachi case and that they discussed various aspects with the registrar in this regard.

Farooq Sattar said that Karachi was the economic engine of the country and its peace was very important.
