PM, Interior Minister issue orders to recover Shahbaz Taseer
ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Yusuf Raza Gilani and Interior Minister Rehman Malik have ordered concerned officials to recover Shahbaz Taseer immediately, Geo News reported.According to a government notification, Prime Minister Gilani telephoned the daughter of Salman Taseer, Sherbano and assured her that no effort would be spared to recover her brother. He also contacted IG Punjab and ordered him to take all measures to recover Shahbaz Taseer.
Interior Minister, Rehman Malik has also directed IG Punjab, Director FIA and security agencies to seal the border and find out where Shahbaz Taseer is being kept and recover him.
Meanwhile according to the Human Rights Watch, Salman Taseer’s family was receiving threats following his killing and the kidnapping of his son was a failure of the government’s writ.
