Prime Minister says PPP will emerge victorious in next general elections
LAHORE: Prime Minister Raja Pervez Ashraf has said that PPP will emerge victorious in the next general elections in the country which would be free‚ fair and transparent.Talking to elected representatives‚ party leaders and workers at residence of Chairman Evacuee Trust Property Board on Friday afternoon, he said PPP is biggest political party of the country with its roots in the masses. PPP defeated all political opponents including PML-N and Jamaat-e-Islami‚ who had joined hands in National Assembly bye-election in Multan.
Prime Minister Ashraf said PPP which assumed power at a very difficult time with many challenges, "has stabilized the country in all fields. We raised Pakistan flag in Swat and Malakand Division. Despite all odds‚ we are trying to overcome energy crisis."
Punjab Governor‚ Sardar Latif Khosa‚ Federal Minister Samina Khalid Ghurki‚ Minister of State Ch. Imtiaz Safdar Warraich were also present. (PPI)
