Talks underway with India over Balochistan: Naveed Qamar
KARACHI: Defence Minister, Naveed Qamar Sunday said evidence pointing towards foreign interference in Balochistan exists and talks on the issue are underway with India.Qamar said this while addressing a press conference along with Governor Balochistan Nawabzada Zulfiqar Magsi following their meeting here at Balochistan House where Law Minister Farooq H Naek was also present.
He said the Cabinet committee on Balochistan would submit its report on daily basis on the issue, adding it is the Cabinet which will decide as to who the government will in engage talks with.
The Defence Minister said the issue of Balochistan will be resolved only through democratic and political means and that recommendations in this regard would be put forth in the next meeting of the Cabinet after consulting with all the stakeholders.
