NATO containers cross Chaman border

CHAMAN: The supply to US-led NATO forces stationed in Afghanistan via Chaman border was restored on Wednesday after a suspension of 18 days. Nangiali Faizi told APP that the private companies, contracted to provide supplies to the International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) in Afghanistan, paid Rs 80 million of customs to the Afghan Customs to allow them to cross containers and trailers loaded with supplies for the NATO troops into Afghanistan via the Chaman border gate. About 20 NATO containers, which had earlier been parked at the container terminal in Chaman for 18 days, crossed into Afghanistan from the Pakistani sides. app
