Zardari approves new incentives for FATAISLAMABAD: President Asif Ali Zardari has issued instructions to regularise contract-based FATA teachers and to double the number of quota seats for FATA students in all medical and engineering universities, the Commerce Ministry said in a statement. Minister of state for Commerce Abbas Khan Afridi called on Zardari at the Presidency, and discussed matters regarding FATA reforms and different facilitation packages for FATA people. The president said that it would be a major operational step to provide relief to FATA people. Zardari also appreciated the minister for advocating such packages which would bring FATA in the mainstream of the country in coming years. staff report
