Balochistan ex-speaker jailed over fake degreeStaff Report
QUETTA: Member of Provincial Assembly (MPA) and former Balochistan Assembly speaker Zahoor Hussain Khosa, on Friday, was sentenced to two years imprisonment and fined five thousand rupees for holding a fake degree.
Khosa had contested the 2008 general elections from PB 26 Jafferabad against PPP member Mir Abdul Rehman Jamali, who challenged his candidacy by submitting a letter to the Supreme Court. The SC subsequently disqualified Khosa on July 30, 2010, and ordered registeration of a case against him.
