Parliament, judiciary should accept each other, says AltafKARACHI: Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) chief Altaf Hussain on Sunday stressed that in order to ensure survival of democracy in the country both parliament and judiciary should accept each other. Addressing via telephone the annual programme of MQM's welfare wing, Khidmat-e-Khalq Foundation (KKF), which was held to distribute alms among the poor, Altaf urged the political and religious parties to come forward for the security of the country. "Politicians, security institutions and judiciary should also work for the betterment of the country," he added. On extortion and law and order situation of Karachi, Altaf alleged terrorists were being secretly patronised and entire country was being held hostage by the extortion and parchi mafias. staff report
