Zardari reaches Saudi Arabia to attend OIC summit

JEDDAH: President Asif Ali Zardari arrived in the Saudi capital on Monday to attend the fourth extraordinary summit of Organisation of Islamic Conference (OIC), convened by King Abdullah in Makkah, to discuss the challenges facing the Muslim world and to further strengthen unity and solidarity of the community. Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, Foreign Minister Hina Rabbani Khar, Interior Minister Rehman Malik and Foreign Secretary Jalil Abbas Jilani are part of the president's entourage. The president, upon arrival at the King Abdul Aziz International Airport Jeddah, was received by Makkah Governor Prince Khalid Al Faisal and Jeddah Governor Prince Mish'al bin Majid bin Abdulaziz along with other senior Saudi and Pakistani officials. app
