Cross-border cooperation increasing with Pakistan: Panetta
WASHINGTON: US Defense Secretary Leon Panetta has said that cross-border cooperation was increasing with Pakistan.
In a press briefing alongwith Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff, Panetta said General John Allen, who heads the international coalition force in Afghanistan, is in contact with General Kayani over sharing of cross-border information.
US defense secretary termed restoration of Nato Supply route a ‘good step’ and said that Pakistan has taken major measures for peace and stability in Afghanistan.
