PML-N rules out talks with govt on interim set-up
ISLAMABAD: Opposition leader in the Naitonal Assembly Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan on Wednesday said the opposition was not in contact with the government over the next general election and ruled out the possibility of his party’s negotiations in the near future with the government on an interim set-up. Prime Minister Raja Pervez Ashraf had said earleir that “for holding impartial and transparent general election, we are taking the opposition into confidence. And for this we have taken a start with the consensual appointment of the chief election commissioner.” To a question about caretaker government, Nisar said that his party would contact other opposition groups after the Eid. staff report
