PML-N tried to sabotage cancer hospital twice: Imran Khan

FAISALABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief, Imran Khan, Friday said that PML-N had tried to sabotage the Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital (SKMH) twice through political propaganda.

He said this while addressing traders and industrialists during a fundraiser for SKMH here.

He said that PML-N had alleged in 1997 that the hospital funds were being used for the election campaign and now they are propagating that zakat collections are being used for investments and gambling.

He further said that had the PML-N succeeded in its ulterior motives it would have been a great loss for the poor cancer patients.

The PTI leader stated that he would be taking the matter to court where all the facts will come to the fore.
