Flood warning for KP and Punjab
PESHAWAR: The Flood Warning Division has issued a warning for Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Punjab.
Heavy rains are predicted to lash parts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and flood warnings for the next two days have been issued for Kohat, Bannu, Peshawar, Mardan and Hazara divisions.
People residing near Kabul, Kurrum and Swat rivers have been directed to be careful due to the risk of flooding.
The MET office adds that a low-level flood is present near Shahdra in Ravi which is expected to be a high-level flood during the next 24 hours.
Heavy rains are also predicted in Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Gujranwala, Lahore, Sargodha and Faisalabad.
