No LB polls before general election: Shah
SUKKUR: Federal Minister for Religious Affairs Syed Khurshid Shah has said that local bodies elections could not be held before the general elections as the country could not afford two, Geo News reported.
Talking to ‘Geo News’ on the occasion of Eid Milan Party organized by President Sukkur Chamber of Commerce & Industry Muhammad Din here, Khursheed Shah said PPP would try to contest the upcoming general polls with coalition partners, however, policy of every party is always different in the elections.
False propaganda is being made about delay in general polls but it would be held on time, he reiterated.
