Commission on new provinces to meet on 28th
ISLAMABAD: The first meeting of the parliamentary commission formed to create new provinces has been summoned on August 28. National Assembly Speaker Dr Fehmeeda Mirza had formed the commission last week. During the upcoming session, chairman of the commission would be appointed. Sources said the commission had decided to have representation from all political parties. Last week, 12 members of the National Assembly and Senate were named for the commission, while two members were selected from the Punjab Assembly. The Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) has not yet provided any names for the commission and has been demanding more representation in it. inp
