Capt (Retd) Safdar apologizes in written reply
LAHORE: President PML-N Youth Wing, Capt (Retd) Safdar Saturday in a reply to a show-cause notice issued has said that he apologizes if he has hurt any party leader, Geo News reported.
He had incurred the cancellation of his party membership and a show-cause for criticizing PML-N leaders Mehtab Abbasi and Sabir Shah.
Source in the PML-N told Geo News that Capt (Retd) Safdar’s response has been received by the PML-N secretariat.
According to sources he has denied issuing any statement against the party leadership terming the whole affair a misunderstanding
He also, in his reply, solemnly pledged to be more careful in the future.
Sources also revealed that the reply would reach the party president Nawaz Sharif’s table in the next few days, after which the decision regarding the restoration of Capt (Retd) Safdar’s membership will be taken.
