New PM if Ashraf declared ineligible: Aitzaz
ISLAMABAD: Barrister Aitzaz Ahsan said Monday that if the letter was not written to Swiss authorities, the court’s decision would be the same as it was for former Prime Minister Yusuf Raza Gilani.
Speaking to the media Aitzaz said he was not approached to represent Prime Minister Raja Pervez Ashraf adding that he was pleased that the court had granted 22 days to the PM.
In reply to a question Aitzaz Ahsan said if the prime minister was declared ineligible a new one would be appointed and this cycle would continue till March 2013.
