PTI submits annual statements of accounts to ECPStaff Report
ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) submitted annual statement of accounts in the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) on Monday.
In an announcement by party’s central office, PTI Central Finance Secretary Sardar Azhar Tariq Khan and Manager Accounts Muhammad Arshad had submitted details of sources and expenditures to the ECP.
The ECP has directed the members of the NA, provincial assemblies (PAs) and Senate to submit their annual statements of assets and liabilities.
PTI has submitted its accounts details well on time, as August 29 was the day set by the ECP for political parties to put forward their accounts to ECP, PTI central media cell said in a press release, adding that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Chairman Imran Khan had issued the notification of Farrakh Habib as newly elected president of Insaf Students Federation (ISF).
It further said that PTI chairman had formally notified Habib as president of ISF.
Greeting him on his appointment to the office, chairman and central leadership of the party hoped that Farrukh Habib will uphold the manifesto of the party and endeavour to disseminate it to the masses.
Moreover, PTI central media cell in its press release said that party leadership believed that the newly appointed president of ISF would play a substantial role in the development of the country as well as the nation.
