Kerry, Kayani discuss Afghanistan
RAWALPINDI: Army chief General Ashfaq Kayani and Inter Services Intelligence (ISI) Director General Zaheerul Islam held a meeting with US Secretary of State John Kerry and discussed matters related to Afghanistan.
According to sources, during the meeting the army chief reiterated that Pakistan desires a stable Afghanistan. The army chief also expressed his concern over Afghanistan harbouring dangerous terrorist elements that launch attacks on Pakistan, sources said.
Various other issues, including the regional situation, were also discussed. online
