Indian drone violates Pakistani airspace

LAHORE: An unmanned Indian spy plane violated Pakistan’s airspace near Sialkot on Saturday, officials said.

“The Indian Remote Piloted Vehicle (RPV) entered Pakistani airspace in the Sialkot sector,” security officials said, adding that the plane was forced back after the Pakistan Air Force came into action. Indian aircraft penetrated about 350 metres inside the Pakistan territory and kept flying for about two minutes.

A few months back a fighter plane of the Indian Air Force also violated Pakistan’s airspace. The RPV was reported to be flying at a height of 3,500 feet. agencies
