EOBI scandal: Non-bailable arrest warrants of fugitive accused issued
KARACHI: Federal Anti-Corruption Court has issues non-bailable arrest warrants of fugitive accused in EOBI scandal case, Geo News reported.
Judge Tasneem Sultana heard the EOBI case here on Tuesday. The arrested accused colonel (retd) Asad, his daughter Maham Najeeb, Iqbal Dawood, former director EOBI Kanwar Khursheed besides Nighat, who had been released on bail appeared before the court.
During the proceedings, the federal investigation agency (FIA) presented report pertaining to non-arrest of fugitive accused former chairman EOBI Zaffar Gondal and Qasim Javed.
The court issued non-bailabe arrest warrants of both the accused and adjourned the hearing till August 13.
