Cabinet’s Defence Committee likely to be summoned next week
ISLAMABAD: A meeting of the Cabinet’s Defence Committee is likely to be summoned next week, well-placed sources in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs told Geo News on Friday.
The sources said that Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has issued instructions to summon the meeting of the committee.
They further said national security, regional situation and issues related to terrorism would came under discussion during the meeting of the Defence Committee of Cabinet. The tension with Indian stemming from incidents on the Line of Control is also expected to be discussed.
