Nawaz calls for talks to restore LoC ceasefireISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has expressed his sadness over the recent incidents on the Line of Control (LoC) and called for talks to restore ceasefire on the LoC. The prime minister reiterated the resolve that Pakistan will persist in its efforts to improve relations with India through a constructive dialogue on all issues. He emphasised that existing military-to-military channels could be more optimally utilised to prevent misunderstanding and escalation. staff report
