NA adopts resolution over India’s ceasefire violation at LoC

ISLAMABAD: The National Assembly (NA) unanimously passed a resolution on Tuesday against Indian aggression at the Line of Control (LoC) and violation of ceasefire, Geo News reported.

The resolution presented before NA session held under Speaker Ayaz Sadiq demanded of the India to strictly adhere to the ceasefire agreement signed bilaterally in 2003. Federal Minister for Science and Technology, Zahid Hamid put forth the resolution which vehemently denounces the Indian aggression at LoC.

The resolution pressed India to ensure strict compliance with the ceasefire agreement inked with Pakistan in 2003. It also condemned the incidents of interception and causing damage to the Dosti Bus, which runs between India and Pakistan.

“The insult of Pakistan and Pakistani people is strongly condemned,” said the resolution which also pays tribute to the Pak army Jawans who risk their lives for defence of the motherland.
