Joint intelligence secretariat to be set up to counter terrorism: Nisar
ISLAMABAD: Pakistan government has decided to establish on modern lines a joint intelligence secretariat with an aim to counter the menace of terrorism, Geo News reported Tuesday.
Addressing a press conference, Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan said that one of the main objectives of the above decision is to ensure coordination among all the intelligence wings including Inter Services Intelligence (ISI) and Intelligence Bureau (IB).
He said the framework for National Security Policy will be presented to the Prime Minister in the next two weeks.
