PIA plane escapes mishap after bird hit
LAHORE: A Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) flight escaped a mishap on Saturday morning as pilot managed to land the aircraft after a bird hit one of its engines.
A spokesman of PIA said some parts were needed urgently to fix the engine.
“We have written letters to Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) DG several times to get rid of birds from Karachi and Lahore airports but nothing has been done,” the spokesman said.
