Qutub-uddin Shaikh made new MD KW&SB
KARACHI: Qutub-uddin-Shaikh has been made the new Managing Director (MD) of Karachi Water and Sewerage Board (KW&SB) while Misbah-uddin Fareed has been directed to report at MD office, Geo News reported.
According to a notification issued from Chief Secretary office Wednesday, Qutub-uddin-Shaikh has been made new MD KW&SB and Najam Alam Siddiqui will be the new Deputy MD technical services.
While, former MD of the board, grade 19 officer Misbah-uddin Fareed, who was sacked on court order, has been directed to report the new MD of the KW&SB.
Misbah-uddin was facing allegations of promoting himself to grade 20 without the approval of Chief Minister Sindh and later removed on court orders.
The Sindh High Court (SHC) had issued orders on August 22 which were implemented today (Wednesday).
