MQM parliamentarians including myself on arrest list: Sattar
ISLAMABAD: MQM leader, Dr Farooq Sattar has claimed that party parliamentarians including himself are on the list of individuals to be arrested prepared by the Sindh government.
Addressing on the floor of the National Assembly, Sattar said revenge tactics had been initiated against the MQM. “The interior minister spoke of making the chief minister captain; however he has started firing like a misguided missile.”
Sattar added that such action was a punch on the face of democracy. According to the MQM leader his life was under threat but the government instead of providing security was worrying him.
Later, the MQM in protest to the arrest of workers in Karachi staged a walk-out from the National Assembly.
