PM lifts ban on recruitment in LEAs
ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister, Nawaz Sharif has lifted the ban on recruitment in all law enforcement agencies (LEAs).
The prime minister was chairing a meeting to discuss measures to counter terrorism in the country. During the meeting, the prime minister said that he wanted recruitment to start in all LEAs within ten days.
The prime minister also directed all LEAs to track terrorists and the Punjab government should formulate an alternative plan to tackle terrorism.
Directives for the formation of a counter-terrorism force in Punjab were also issued by the prime minister.
