Pakistan, Russia in first-ever FS-level talks
MOSCOW: Pakistan and the Russian Federation held their first ever consultations at the level of foreign secretaries in Moscow.
The Foreign Office spokesman giving the details said that Foreign Secretary Jalil Abbas Jilani led the Pakistani side while the Russian side was led by first Deputy Minister Vladimir Gennadievich Titov of the Russian Foreign Office.
Pakistan’s Ambassador to Russian Federation Alamgir Babur and Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Igor Morgulov also participated in the consultations.
Both sides noted with satisfaction the growing understanding between the two countries and discussed in detail the state of bilateral relations. This reaffirmed their commitment to further deepening and diversifying the bilateral relationship to their mutual benefit. app
