Why is PML-N afraid of LB polls on party-basis, asks Imran
LAHORE: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Chairman Imran Khan has asked the PML-N that why it was abstaining from holding local bodies’ election on party basis, if it was (indeed) a popular political party of Punjab.
Khan said in his address to the PTI workers in Lahore that he knocked on door of the Supreme Court for speedy justice over rigging in polls as timely verdicts of the judiciary could block future’s rigging in polls.
The PTI chief warned that if judiciary fail to provide justice over polls’ rigging then he would take to the streets with party workers.
Khan said, while criticizing proposed LB System of Punjab, that Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s LB System will shift more power to common people.
He said Sharif was not serious about bringing back Zardari’s assets as both the political parties had some mutual deal with each other. online
