PM Nawaz escapes unharmed, as car hits his convoy
ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and his family remained safe in an alleged attack in which a car rammed into his convoy as he traveled from Marree to Islamabad.
According to sources, a number of vehicles forming PM Nawaz Sharif’s convoy came under an attack when a car drove right into his moving caravan.
The security detail present in the PM’s convoy immediately sprang to action and took the driver and his car into custody.
A bomb disposal squad has also been engaged to check if the car was carrying any explosives.Courtesy www.thenews.com.pk
