Floods claimed 73 lives in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa: PDMA
PESHAWAR: A report by the Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) states that 73 people died from flooding in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa during the last month.
According to the PDMA report 31 people have been injured and 11 are missing.
The highest number of deaths were reported in Chitral with 34, nine people were killed in Karak, eight in Dir Bala, five in Shangla, four in Peshawar, four in Abbottabad and three in Kohat.
Of the over 1,118 homes damaged from the floods, 437 were completely destroyed.
