Reham Khan dispels rumours about contesting elections
HARIPUR: Reham Khan, wife of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan, has dispelled rumours about taking part in the elections, saying that politics and journalism cannot go hand in hand.
Speaking to reporters here on Friday, she said that rumours were circulated about her contesting elections.
Reham, who is also a journalist and works for a private TV channel, said she has launched and leading the election campaign for PTI's candidate for NA-19 by-poll, scheduled for August 16.
“Being a woman and a media person, I will not suggest my husband Imran Khan anything wrong and always support him,” Reham asserted.
Later speaking at public gathering organised in connection with the upcoming by-polls, Reham urged people to vote for the PTI candidate.
"Give this present [voting for PTI candidate] to your Bhabhi [brother's wife] and the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government will return the favour".
