PM Nawaz Sharif meets President Mamnoon
ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif called on President Mamnoon Hussain on Friday.
Sources said the prime minister and the president agreed to continue the operation against criminal elements in Karachi.
While discussing operation Zarb-e-Azb, both leaders agreed the military offensive was producing positive results.
They also condemned the criticism against law enforcement agencies.
Sources said during the meeting appointments of law officers in the higher judiciary were also approved.
The prime minister and the president expressed profound grief and sorrow over the loss of army personnel in a helicopter crash in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Thursday.
