Sindh will always remain one entity: minister

KARACHI - Responding to the statements made by Muttahida Qaumi Movement chief Altaf Hussain, Sindh Senior Minister for Education and Literacy Nisar Ahmed Khuhro said that Sindh is one entity and will always remain whole.
Talking to journalists outside the provincial assembly on Friday, Khuhro condemned the statements made by the MQM chief saying that Altaf had made similar statements in the past which had been condemned then as well.
He stressed that no one would be allowed to destabilise Sindh further, adding that every citizen of the province was a Pakistani first and a Sindhi second.
Sindh Assembly Deputy Speaker Shehla Raza said that without the support of the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP), the resolution condemning Altaf Hussain could not have been passed by the assembly. “The party supports the resolution wholeheartedly,” she added.
