ISLAMABAD: Information Minister Pervaiz Rashid on Saturday urged Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Chairman Imran Khan to eradicate poverty from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The PTI government has failed to bring change in the lives of people in general and the farmers in particular, in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, he said in a statement. The minister asked as to what changes Imran had brought in the lives of KP farmers. “Why did he not pay the amount to the farmers, which the federal government had given as royalty for electricity to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa?” he inquired. He advised Kaptaan to shun negative politics of blaming others, and make sincere and concerted efforts to improve his governance in the province where he held the reigns of power and authority. Pakistan, he said, under the leadership of prime minister Nawaz Sharif was making progress and would continue its journey towards peace and prosperity.
